QCRC What's Happening.....

COMMUNITY SERVICE

Webster House QCRC Community Service Project will be held on Saturday June 15th 9:00am at Webster House. Volunteers are needed to help dig and prep an area that will support a new gazebo area on the Webster House grounds. If you'd like more information, or would like to volunteer please contact Rick Blais.

Pitch-A-Project

Do you have a Pitch-A-Project idea? or know of a non-profit that could use our help? Download the Pitch-A-Project form from our website and turn completed request in to Frank or Natalie!

Serve-a-thon: Our Community Service committee is organizing a group of rotary volunteers to help package meals for the NH Foodbank. This Serve-a-thon will take place on June 21st from 3:00 - 5:00 pm at Northwest Elementary School.

Guest Speaker

Bianca Beaudoin, Director of Developmenrt for The Way Home, was our guest speaker today. Bianca shared with our club the different programs they offer to help people avoid homelessness.

June 6th Meeting we will be awarding the Queen City Rotary Toolship Scholarships as well as the Ken Wakefield Scholarship.

City Year Graduation 2019

2019 Graduating class of City Year to be held on June 14th at 3:30pm at The Palace Theatre.

Rotary District 7870 Polio Pledge

Our rotary district is on a mission to raise $$ before the end of this fiscal year, June 30th. For every $1 raised by Rotarians, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will match $2. Of the 59 clubs in our district, 23 have already pledged over $32,400. The Queen City Rotary club has pledged $500 to help this cause.

A note from our President-Elect, Ann Butenhof

Due to her surgery and upcoming cancer treatments, Andrea Kuhman informed the Board that she would not be able to serve on the Board as Past President for fiscal year 2019-2020. Joanie Bennett has graciously agreed to assume that role in Andrea's stead. Thank you Joanie!
